Great local farm market with all the basics, local dairy, meats, fruits and vegetables. It’s run by the Meninites in the area and they handcraft many things onsite as well as source from Amish Artisans. It’s a must visit in our opinion.

less than a mile on HWY 51 is Butternuts Beer and Ale, home of the famous Pork Slap Pale Ale. Hop in for a pint or try another one of their farm crafted brews. Chuck, the owner/brewer/life-long friend, is one of the best people we know! Tell him you are staying at Izzy Meadows!!! Take a left out of the driveway and a right at Walters. The brewery is at the bottom of the hill on the other side of the street.

is a beautiful little park with hiking/biking trails, a pristine lake with a great beach, grills and a playground. It’s about a 12 minute drive so we go all the time as it’s usually not crowded at all.

is a larger city compared to Cooperstown. So if you are passing through on your way, we do suggest grocery shopping in Oneonta. Hannaford and Aldi are great and they also have a mega Walmart and BJ’s as well.
