Beautiful beach, do not miss low tide, check the tide charts, arrive at least 1 hour before lowest tide and go for a long walk on the sand bar. Parking lots will be busy on the weekend, try the residential area around Tolmie St. and walk down. 15 mins drive.

Beautiful park on the beach, lovely pond with ducks, beavers, cute bunnies on the west side of the park. Concession stand. 20 min walk down hill on Highbury from our place, great exercise up hill on the way home.

Great place to learn to sail, kayak, paddle board, windsurfing rentals (book in advance online and aim for highish tide) 10 min drive. They also have a casual restaurant with a patio on the water.
