We love jumping in the Blackwater river to cool off. Canoeing is always fun too! The map shows it in Andover, but the spot we enjoy swimming in is only 2 miles down the road.

Polar Caves Park is a set of glacially-formed caves located in New Hampshire's White Mountains region, in the United States. The caves were formed during the last ice age from granite boulders and are so named because the deepest cave is cold enough to allow snow to linger long into the summer.

Good trails. Nice people at Welcome Center. Focused more on black/double black riders, but still some blue and green for those less skilled. The intro class is a must for everyone since they get you on the trails safely and will fine-tune any of your mistakes. The green trails, while not a huge part of the mountain (looks like TONS of fun for those more skilled), were more than enough to enjoy. Lines are great during the week but can be very long on weekends. Sometimes 30 to 45 min wait.

Learn about the Shakers at this historic Shaker town. Try to get into a tour, as you will learn a lot more that way! There is a museum as well. The village is one of the most intact and authentic surviving Shaker community sites, and was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1993.
