Moraira is a small picturesque nestled between the hills and vineyards of the Costa Blanca at the edge of the mediterranean sea. Then attractive town offers a superb range of Spanish restaurants, coffee bars and ice cream parlours. There is also a wide range of international foods interwined with the vast range of restaurants. The beach is sandy with plenty of parking and a moments walk from all the little bars and restaurants. There is also a marina which is home to many wonderful boats.

City/town information
Javea is located at the bottom of the Montgo mountain with a variety of landscapes, ranging from sandy coastlines to the rugged montains. There are some beautiful walks in this area. There are three main areas of Javea: the Port, the Arenal (the main beach) and the Old Town where you can enjoy a variety of Tapas. There is also the large fish market in the centre of the Old Town.

My favourite for that special meal
There are many beautiful restaurants in Moraira but this one is one of my favourites. Sitting on the edge of the Mediterranean sea it has spectacular views of Calpe and Moraira. The food is superb and the service is always excellent.

Food scene
The castle bar is a very English cafe type place and is good for a full breakfast and a large mug of coffee. It also serves main meal too and always very tasty. The service is welcoming and has great views of Moraira Castle. It is situated not far from the beach and is just across the road from the sea front.

My favourite relaxing and friendly local
A 15 min walk from the villa is the Gastrobar21 which is a new concept of gastronomy. It has a large terrace and is tastefully decorated.
