I know, I'm sending you 20 minutes away for coffee when we have a coffee bar right here at The Lindy! But the thing is...this place is amazing! You can get some delicious food, interesting drinks, even a glass of prosecco! They are worth the drive and then some! You can also pick up the airline trail right up the road!

Harkness Park is one of the most beautiful places in Connecticut (maybe even on Earth!) There is a small beach area (supposedly no swimming but people do) But more importantly, the grounds are amazing to walk. You have panoramic views of the ocean, plenty of shady places to picnic and gardens galore to walk through. 46 minute drive.

The center of town resembles many picturesque New England villages with a library, churches and town hall clustered around the green. The town green is a mile in length, and a beautiful walk. You can also visit the Jonathan Trumbull House if it's open, for a 30 minute tour. (The Lebanon Winery is super close by too!)
