Beautiful Falls, great boardwalk! Nice every season.
Take lunch and a fishing pole and stay all day or enjoy the boardwalk and visit the damn in Hinton on your way home. Don’t forget to stop by and have a treat at the most unique Dairy Queen in the world!

Well worth it if you are physically able!! Road way trail off to the side of the creek! Hike up one way and down the other!
2-4 hour hike depending on your physical conditioning!

Well worth it if you are physically able!! Road way trail off to the side of the creek! Hike up one way and down the other!

Alderson Mercantile, a 4 generation family owned gift shop and boutique clothier also with many unique gifts and fun t-shirts. The building and it’s original custom hardwood walls and shelving is interesting to see. The town has a couple of antique stores and an art store. Alderson is situated along the banks of the Greenbrier River and is most famous for hosting Martha Stuart during her, not so happy, visit to WV women’s prison.
