Ok, so shoot me, it's not steps a way but an actual drive but this is Buffalo's famous pizzeria along with La Nova. For a food city, you better have spectacular Pizza - and Bocce is an institution here. One of the great American Pizzas! Make sure they make it a little on the well-done side.

This is where you'll see the grain elevators painted to look like Labbatt Beer Cans. Rent a kayak. Go on a zip line !!! And if you hit the right weekend you might even be able to see a Roller Rink game. There are also two hockey rinks.

Their toast & cheese offerings might as well be like eating a good steak - I'm serious, it's that good! And the surroundings are one of kind rustic! It's just a wonderfully pleasant experience for breakfast and coffee!

It's just a wonderfully pleasant experience for breakfast and coffee!
I can't believe I'm listing this... but if I'm honest, these are quite possibly the best doughnuts in the entire world. However, please only go once on your trip... we're talking serious calories.

Alright, you really want to know where the locals go for buffalo chicken wings -- it's Duffs. Sometimes the student surpasses the teacher. Sure go to Anchor Bar where they were first created, but the best are here.

Wonderful restaurant and part of Buffalo's glorious renaissance. Eat healthy without sacrificing taste in this fully restored circa 1860's brick house. And don't forget to have a cocktail or two at the very cool bar. A place for all meals.

Imagine how good these dogs are if I'm recommending this place and I'm a vegetarian (although they grill up a pretty awesome veggie dog as well). Along with Bocce Pizza, the Anchor Bar for wings, Anderson's for ice cream and Schwabl's for Beef on Weck - Teds is on the Mt. Rushmore of Buffalo eateries.

This is Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece mansion - gawk and marvel at it and then look at the beautiful Victorian homes that surround it - remarkably the Martin House was built during the same era. The two worlds seems hundreds of years apart -- Frank Lloyd Wright is a revolution! His vision comes out of no where- there's no through-line to the past. It's pure genius! And architecture and product design is still influenced by this once Buffalo native. A stay in Buffalo promises one of natures greatest treasures, Niagara Falls but it also has the man-made equivalent, The Martin House.
