Close to the cottage is the walking/bike path. Path goes from Hwy 12 all the way to 4th Street East past vineyards and wineries.

This is a 15 minute drive from the cottage but absolutely worth it! Parking fee of $10 per car and dogs only allowed on a small portion of the park.

Another 15 minute drive but has some nice views and trails. Lots of manzanita and oak woodlands. Dogs are welcome on all the trails and there is a lovely reservoir to walk around.
