Sightseeing
I am an official tourist guide of Florence and usually, when my guests ask me to see something especially in my town I answer "Piazza del Duomo". The cathedral is one of the most important in the world and the entrance is free: you can admire Brunelleschi dome by inside it, losing your breath. The surroundings are beatiful too: from Saint John Baptistery, Via Calzaiuoli, Orsanmichele's church until Piazza della Signoria you can admire the ancient beauty of the city.

Palazzo Pitti has been for centuries the palace where the Grandukes of Tuscany lived: in its back there is Boboli Garden, one of the biggest park inside Florence old centre. With one ticket you can visit the palace and the art galleries and the wonderful garden.

This is the biggest green area in Florence: go there if you love run or just walking in total relax alongside the river. It is better don't go there late night.

If you visit Florence you can't miss this museum: in Uffizi Gallery you find the most beatiful works of art of the masters of the italian Renaissance, from Michelangelo to Leonardo da Vinci, from Botticelli to Raphael. When I go in with my clients I usually get my time to show Florence from high, because the sight from the second floor of the museum is very beautiful.
