Serving yummy local coffee and light breakfast fare. Great place to browse books and soak in the sun on their awesome patio. We usually buy a bag of Eastern Shore Roasting Company coffee from here to have on our vacation! Highly recommend.

Grab a yummy sandwich (their pimento grilled cheese is amazing) and bring it to Chatham Winery next door for a picnic! About 20 minutes or so away from the Shore House.

Opened in 2020 The Pearl Market is open on Saturdays from 9am-Noon (hours vary) It's our go to for local goods including fresh seafood, poultry, veggies, flowers, art and other cool stuff. They have a kitchen on site with a local caterer that always cooks up some amazing brunch options to go. You MUST snag a pack of their sweet potato biscuits with Edwards ham!!!!

Golf Cart Reservation: Book EARLY during peak season!
If you are staying during peak season, consider placing a reservation with either Eastern Shore Custom Carts or with Smitty at CC Ryder in town the same time you make your accommodation reservation because the carts will sell out.

Tips for families with kids!
The Shore House is made for families with little ones! The unit has a toy chest, children's books, games, beach toys, youth kayak, baby gates for the stairs, play yard in the middle room closet and a sound machine in each room.
The beach is perfect for younger kids with parents who are looking to relax on the shore. The bay is a perfect safe place!
The town fishing pier is FREE and does NOT require a fishing license. A great activity for kids! Bailey's Tackle shop in town has all you need to get set up with equipment if needed.
We are only 2 blocks away from the park and playground.
