If you hike, this is a challenging moderate hike with an outstanding view. The most photographed overlook on the Appalachian Trail. This is one of the hikes that you need to undertake to achieve the Triple Crown.
The Virginia Triple Crown is comprised of what many consider to be the state’s three best hiking destinations: McAfee Knob, Tinker Cliffs and Dragon’s Tooth. All are conveniently located within a few miles of each other just outside of Roanoke.

One of the most gorgeous waterfalls in the area! I believe it is about 2 miles in and 2 miles out. It will get your heart pumping!
