Welcome to Menlo Park!

Neighborhoods

This area, as part of the Santa Cruz basin when it flowed, was home to the earliest inhabitants of Tucson and is the longest continuously inhabited area in the state. Now home to the Mercado San Augustine and Caterpillar headquarters, Menlo Park is on the rise and full of great things to do, eat and see. From neighborhood originals to the hottest new food and beverage trends and even some fine dining, you can stick to the hood if you would like.

Quick Food

I’ve watched this place grow since I bought Linda in 2003, and it’s no surprise. Everything is delicious, freshly prepared and affordable. Beautful street tacos, burritos, tortas and the classic Sonoran Hot Dog (wrapped in bacon served in a grilled roll with beans and topped with like, everything). There’s also treats like Raspados and Escamoche, so if you walk to this nearby place you can justify having some sweets.

Affordable, tasty and definitely not healthy, Pat’s has been slinging dogs and burgers and fries for decades in nearby Barrio Hollywood. The fries are thin and crispy and bountiful, and the chili is homemade.

Shopping

In addition to the kitchen and Seis, find a coffee shop, bakery and several boutique shops. Two wonderful local owned antique shops are just west of the Mercado as well.
