The Phoenix zoo is an amazing place for adults and kids alike. There is so much to see and do while you’re there. It’s about a 40 minute drive from my house but a great event to entertain the entire family.
It’s great to see so many cool animals if you’re ok with it, you can even ride a camel! Also during the holiday season they put up millions of lights, have light shows set to music and it’s a fantastic thing to do at night

Located about 15 minutes away this place has it all from an ice rink, bars, clubs, nightlife, shopping and outlet malls galore. There is a ton to do and see here to keep you entertained!!

This is one of the most famous places to hike here in Phoenix. However, it’s a very difficult hike, so best for more athletic and adventurous/avid hikers. Make sure to get there early as parking is tough and be sure to drink/bring plenty of water because if you have to get helicopter lifted off, you pay the bill.

This was a cute little park/zoo I found on the way up to the canyon. There is a part where you drive through the park and then a little zoo. Was actually pretty cool even as an adult

The fountain hills square with the water fountain is definitely something to see. Located about 50 minutes away it’s a nice drive through Scottsdale to the east side of the valley. I also belive there is a splash pad for the kids

This is one of the upscale neighborhoods on the west side of the valley. There is a ton of place to eat, shopping etc.

Outdoor adventures
Need a break from the heat, lake pleasant is a large lake where you can rent boats, pontoons waterski jet ski and do all fun things water related. There are also a few restaurants to eat at to really get that lake life feel. It’s about a 25 minute drive from my house.

Check that off your bucket list! This is one of a kind thing to do, a bit spendy but there are a lot of companies so do your research. Balooning only happens during the cooler months (December-April) as it needs cool air to heat up
