Great spot for some lunch or to buy something delicious and local for dinner.
Our local brewery with music and pizza 01453 887122. Although the brewery is on a small industrial estate, it's a good ambiance with a nice setting next to the canal. The staff are very friendly and chilled and eat outside if it's warm. I though the pizza's were very good and the beer is terrific!
Booking is advisable. 4/5

Initial reports were of great food and decent service but many places in the service sector are struggling to get the staff. It's also relatively close.

You can walk to Slad from Bisley but it is quite a hike, particularly on the way back so I suggest driving - via Stancombe if you are feeling adventurous!
The Inn has a special character and Laurie Lee is buried in the village graveyard. We have had mixed experience with the food but it’s generally good and the “Old Spot” bitter is a my absolute favourite. Booking is recommended.

Slad RoadYou can walk to Slad from Bisley but it is quite a hike, particularly on the way back so I suggest driving - via Stancombe if you are feeling adventurous!

There are some lovely walks around Bisley and Lypiatt. There are two pubs, a post office and the farm shop on Stancombe Lane has good veg and local Honey.

The Bisley-with-Lypiatt walk is one of my favourite in the area. It takes about 3 hours and includes woodland and panoramic views of the Severn Valley.
I suggest driving to Bisley and parking in the lay-by at the north end of the village (direction The Camp) and finishing with a drink in the garden at the Stirrup Cup.

This is a busy tourist spot so go mid-week or early for some classic Cotswold views. You can also feed the fish at the trout farm which is fun.
It takes about 45 minutes to drive there.
