Very nice old Dutch brown pub with a nice terras as well. Serve good jenevers (Dutch gin). They are one of the only bars with a liquor store licence, so if you want to take some drinks with you they are allowed to sell to you.

One of the best terrasses of Amsterdam. Just around the corner of our house. Go there for breakfast, coffee, lunch or a drink in the afternoon. I wouldn't recommend to have dinner, there are better places for good food.

Nice Indian food to eat over-there, pick-up or have it delivered at home. 3 minute walk from our house. Give them a call in advance and 15 minutes later your food will be ready to pick-up.

A former workers area which is now full of students and very multi culti. Visit the Albert Cuyp market and have a coffee on one of the terrasses. Lots of nice shops with food, clothes and all kind of things. only a 5 minute walk from our house
