If you’ve never tried a strawberry tart from Café Eccell, you’re missing out. They’re a local delicacy! Head there for a casual-but-nice lunch or dinner (with dessert!), or order takeout and come back to enjoy a quieter meal at Reunion House. The food is so-so, Saturday brunch is good, but those tarts are amazing!

The food is so-so, Saturday brunch is good, but those tarts are amazing!
Located near downtown , Ronin is a Reunion House favorite for adult, fine dining. They boast an extensive wine list, knowledgeable and friendly waitstaff, and locally sourced food. Everything we’ve eaten from Ronin is delicious, and the venue is super cool. Be sure you check out the cool industrial design and Texas wall mural too. You’ll want a reservation, and be sure to pay attention to nights they’re open for business.

Ronin Restaurant
800 North Main StreetLocated near downtown , Ronin is a Reunion House favorite for adult, fine dining. They boast an extensive wine list, knowledgeable and friendly waitstaff, and locally sourced food. Everything we’ve eaten from Ronin is delicious, and the venue is super cool. Be sure you check out the cool industrial design and Texas wall mural too. You’ll want a reservation, and be sure to pay attention to nights they’re open for business.
Downtown Favorites
Visit Bryan’s revived downtown area for restaurants, shopping, and bars.
Harvest has a fantastic latte or cup of tea. The Village has coffee too as well as a GREAT build-your-own breakfast bowl. Both are local favorite eateries. Madden’s Casual Gourmet is a nicer place to sit and enjoy a casual but still white table cloth meal. Adjoining Madden’s is an upscale, must-shop home decor venue. All the King’s Men is a small but worthy barbecue restaurant and a perfect dinner to enjoy before catching a show at The Queen, a vintage inspired, restored jewel of a theatre in the heart of Downtown Bryan. The La Salle is a restored boutique hotel with a fantastic Cajun restaurant/lounge called the Downtown Elixir and Spirits Company with a retro-chic vibe, entertaining and fun wait and bar staff, and live music.
