Only open from May until October each year. Look for highway signage to say "open" before you go. Worst case scenario, you will have some great views and will have to turn around if the Ferry is not in operation.

Great views. Highly recommend for sunsets. Watch out for slippery sections if you plan to hike. Cycling enthusiasts will stop here for a rest after climbing out of the valley.
