Slightly odd, but the local sailing club offers traditional danish food in an authentic local environment, and an opportunity to stroll the local marina.

If you can’t find a seat outside Le Kaff, in my building, second best option for a local cafe is just a few steps further, facing the beach.

My friend Niels runs this place, unique for Copenhagen and best vibe for any cafe. It’s right by the metro, and hence 12 minutes away.

Not too busy, eat in or takeaway, good burgers, and just across the road.
Really nice small bakery, facing the beach, get there early or they are sold out.

Excellent wine, cocktails and foods. Pricy, but really nice vibes.
My friend runs this bakery and eatery, round the corner. Perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner. And the crew is sooo nice.

If you are worried about sand between the toes, there is open access to this during day-time in the summer... but a long waiting list for winter bathers, so no chance during the cold season.... luckily, you can run back to the hot shower in the apartment in 3 minutes....

Extraordinary spot, in the middle of the railway tracks. Organic food, renovated industrial buildings, sustainable makerspaces and much more. A must see.
