If it's not beach weather you may enjoy a trip to the capital city. The East Side is historic and scenic and the home of Brown University and RI School of Design. Waterfire - an outdoor evening festival along the riverfront - is on certain Saturday nights from Spring-Fall. Providence Place Mall has high end shopping.
