Great food, great atmosphere and a lovely village pub. Just 12 minutes drive from Charlbury in the small village of Churchill. Highly recommend.

Proper, old style pub with good food. Has not done the 'Cotswold' gastro change but really is such good food and atmosphere. Often there when horses draw up for a pint!

Great public art gallery and set in beautiful parkland. Highly recommend it as it has a children's outside adventure playground but is 45 minutes away from Charlbury.

One of the best pottery sites around - terracotta garden pots. They have the nicest organic restaurants too and it makes for a nice day trip.

Getting Around
GWR Trains direct to London and Oxford. Can also go towards Hereford and pop to Moreton-in-Marsh for market day?

Just outside our house on the Slade - the S3 bus comes from Oxford and you can take the X9 to Chipping Norton or Witney. Good regular bus service.
