This is a great place to go rain or shine. It has a cinema, music, theatre, good food and beer. Kendal Mountain festival is held here every year which fantastic to go to.

If you like history. Kendal castle is situated on top of hill looking over kendal and looking Up to the lakes. It's a lovely walk by the river kent up to the castle & great for dogs. Henry XIII wife Katherine Parr was said to of been born there
