Amazing place! Great food, local and organic - great wines and cocktails! Good selection of dishes, plenty of veggie and vegan options. Really nice atmosphere and not far either, just in Totnes high street

Fab cafe inside china blue (which is also worth a visit to!) really lovely food and drinks and the most amazing cakes 😍 just before Totnes town centre with its own carpark. Also has a lovely outside space for enjoying food and drinks

Brill place to take the kids along to as there is a Community paddling pool and playpark with swings and a zip wire along with a large playground for bikes, rollerblades etc. grab food from pizzalogica or amazing vegan kebabs from the big Kebabski who have little food stalls set up there.

Proper good fish and chips! Deffo worth a ride over to Paignton! I’d actually say they’re possibly the best chips I’ve ever had… your waistline may not thank you but I think they’re worth the sacrifice… just means a few more lengths in the swimming pool 🤷🏻♀️😆

Only a 10 min drive from us with car parking ! Really nice ceramics studio where you can book to paint or throw your own pottery! Really nice activity if the weather isn’t on your side! China blue also has a lovely home-wear/giftshop as well as Wild Thyme, a fab cafe serving wonderful food and drinks. Bit of a one stop shop really!

Salcombe is worth a visit, it’s very beautiful area. It’s approx 45 mins from us.
There is North and a South sands, which are separate from the town itself. Parking can be interesting so an early start is recommend.

Beautiful little spot! Well worth a visit and suitable for all ages
With Staverton station just a 5 min walk from the apartment, this really is a must! Head in one direction along the river dart to tones where you will stop right next to Totnes rare breeds farm… and only a 10 min walk from there to town. Or head in the other direction to Buckfastleigh where there is the otter sanctuary, butterfly farm and buckfast abbey!
Check out their website for times and to book tickets online. It’s deffo possible to visit the otter/butterfly place and the rare breeds farm in one day and I believe you can get tickets for both via South Devon Railway
