Best place for breakfast hands down. With the added bonus that it's only 2 blocks away from our home. The breads and pastries are to die for and everything on the lunch menu is outstanding. They also serve lunch and dinner. Of note, much of their produce is organic and locally grown. Tip: grab a number ticket the moment you get in - lines can be long. If you're just getting a coffee and pastry, no ticket needed, just stand at the first counter:-)

Relaxing and unpretentious ambiance, decorated with the 70s in mind, Bruce Horowitz, the owner has managed to open yet another excellent eatery in the neighbourhood. As well as quality cuts of meat from sustainable farms, he offers excellent fish and the desserts are off the charts!

Relaxing and unpretentious ambiance, decorated with the 70s in mind, Bruce Horowitz, the owner has managed to open yet another excellent eatery in the neighbourhood. As well as quality cuts of meat from sustainable farms, he offers excellent fish and the desserts are off the charts!
Vegan and vegetarian, the food is always fresh and filling. Great healthy smoothies, organic wine and beer. Fun ambience on Rose Avenue, minutes walk away from our home. Highly recommended for everyone!

If you're a sushi lover, Nobu is it! The fish is the freshest around and the ambience is classy and fun. Try and get a table outside and watch the sunset over the Pacific. The perfect place to end the day after a long walk on the beach.

Venice Ale House is one of our favourites in Venice as it offers great views, organic burgers and excellent beer and Urth Cafe on Main Street has a fun vibe for breakfast or lunch.

Sprinkled amidst these perimeters are the makings of a community rich in character, featuring stylish galleries, handsome coffee shops, socially conscious boutiques and some of the best restaurants and bars. Beautiful, relaxing space to truly unwind. You'll feel like you've been transported to Marrakesh. The SPA menu is fantastic and I love the hot mint tea and fruit after an amazing massage.

LA weather, getting around and safety
- Pack for summer, but bring something warm as it gets chilly at night.
- Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen essential when out and about and of course, comfortable walking shoes!
- Our area is easy to explore by foot, but you still may want to have the Uber, Lyft or Bird app to hand, just in case.
- Keep a close eye on your belongings in bars and restaurants - never leave bags on the back of chairs.
