There are several grocery shops, a liquor shop, restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacy and banks along with a historically interested factory of Gustavsberg producing porcelain ware since 1825. There are several outlets selling porcelain and crystal glass from world renown Swedish and Scandinavian brands. Distance 10 km. You can go there by bus from my home.

Visit the island of Sandhamn located in the outer archipelago and the last island before you reach the open sea. Sandhamn has only around 90 year round inhabitants but is quite lively during the summer and offers several beaches, restaurants, coffee shops and also some shopping.

A privately owned art hall, café and restaurant, founded and owned by Björn Jakobsson, the entrepreneur behind the world famous baby carrier Baby Björn (and lots of other items for the caring of small children). The building is quite impressive - don't forget to check out the roof - covered with plants! Distance 12 km. You can go there by bus + a short walk.
