This is the main home for the Danish royal family. You can tell if there are home by the flags on top of the buildings. If there is a flag, there is royalty inside right now. Make sure you come when there is change of guards. They guards are not to be spoken to and they will not reply. Please follow the lines on the bricks and do not get too close to the guards. However, during the change of guards they will walk right next to you during the ceremony. It is an amazing experience and everyone will love it - kids and adults.

This little lady is world famous and should not be missed. The Little Mermaid (Danish: Den lille Havfrue) is a bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen, depicting a mermaid becoming human. The sculpture is displayed on a rock by the waterside at the Langelinie promenade in Copenhagen, Denmark.[a] It is 1.25 metres (4.1 ft) tall[2] and weighs 175 kilograms (385 lb).[3] Based on the fairy tale of the same name by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, the small and unimposing statue is a Copenhagen icon and has been a major tourist attraction since its unveiling in 1913. In recent decades it has become a popular target for defacement by vandals and political activists.

City Hall Square is a public square in the centre of Copenhagen, Denmark, located in front of the Copenhagen City Hall. Its large size, its central location and its affiliation with the city hall make it a popular venue for a variety of events, celebrations and demonstrations. The beautiful City Hall is right there, too of course.
