Slopeside is firm favorite of our family. Its great for a lunch with anybody who hasn't made it up to the mountain, and its also great for hanging out at the end of the day for snacks and drinks, and watching the rest of the riders come off the mountain at the end of the day.

In the heart of Gondola Square, this is the place to be on a powder day. They have a famous "powder clause" that offers discounts on Bloody Mary's if there is over a certain amount of snow overnight. You will be rubbing shoulders with plenty of locals too.

This is where the locals hangout, and it's easy to see why. The restaurant is not very big, but they turn over the tables pretty quickly. Easily the best burgers in the Yampa Valley. A must visit for us whenever we are in Steamboat.

Two words tacos, margaritas. If you are missing Mexican food while you are in Steamboat you could do a lot worse that Salt and Lime. In the summer they open the roof-deck to get amazing views to the mountains, and in the winter there is always a line.

This is a great family style Mexican restaurant. It's a little of the beaten path. Honestly we had been coming to Steamboat for almost 10 years before we discovered it. The food isn't fancy, but its good. There's always a line in the winter time.
