10+km of hiking trails wind through dense evergreen and rolling deciduous forest. Great place for cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Dogs are welcome on leash.

World class ice fishing in the heart of Tweed! Large playground, picnic tables and food truck. Plenty of grass to sit on and read, or kick a soccer ball around. Take the boat out from a large docking area with plenty of parking and putz around the lake for the afternoon.

Step back in time at a local favorite! This conservation area boasts miles of woodland trails, a large pond home to waterfowl, winding creeks with cute bridges, and an original homestead dating back to the 1800's. The many outbuildings are open during the summer and are filled with antique farming equipment and tools. A photographer's dream. Check their website for events such as the annual corn roast, outdoor music, and family fun days. One of my most cherished hiking spots of all time.

Everything fresh and local including veggies, herbs and microgreens, bread, sweets and hot fresh churros, our own certified organic pastured meats, and hot fresh foods ready-to-eat like the vegan cabbage rolls, sausage on a bun and chinese peasant foods. A must stop place for all visitors. Only 45 mins from the farm, it's worth the drive everytime!

This is a quaint little town with wonderful shops, specifically The Bakery (right on main street) which sells wonderful cakes and pastries, and Wild Boar Ground meat! They also have cute gifts from local artisans like natural soaps and maple syrup!
