Places I love to spend time at and visit.
The restaurant and bar is set within the cliffs, right on the beach and serves fabulous food (the bar has great snacks and book at the restaurant for a wonderful meal)! They host many parties through the summer so you can dance on the beach until dawn!
This place has a great beach so you can sunbathe and pop in for lunch and drinks!
Access to Caniço is by an awesome lift, built into the cliff - one not to be missed!

In the early evening after a Sunday sightseeing around the unique town of Ferragudo, head to Club Nau on Praia Grande for fabulous food and great live music on the beach as the sun sets over Portimão.

This is a hidden gem in Alvor!
The secret garden is definitely one of the top 3 spots in Alvor - the food is amazing and the live music on Wednesday can be anything from Fado to Jazz to Latin/World but is always fabulous!! They also have a DJ playing on various other nights….check out their social media (FB) page for more information!!

If you like your music loud and danceable, Rocha won’t let you down and is only a short Uber/bus ride away from Casa Mel. Notable places are the sophisticated Blanco Beach and No Solo Agua, plus the legendary exuberance of Katedral .

Another fabulous place to visit day OR night!! Lots of gorgeous sandy beaches to spend your day at, and many amazing restaurants and bars to chose from - a great night out!!

Visit the Cave of Benagil (Gruta de Benagil) by kayak!!
This gigantic cave is sometimes referred to as the Benagil Cathedral because of the various arches it forms, which, viewed from the outside of the cave, give it the appearance of a cathedral.
