Kinkerbuurt

This street is attached to the Kinkerstraat and leads you right into the city. The Postjesweg is dotted with Mom & Pops shops, including a wine store, a cheese specialist, a Turkish bakery, a roasted nuts shop that sells craft beers and some gifts and clothing stores. Here you'll find local grocers, as well as larger supermarket chains like Albert Heijn (AH) and Aldi.
Pro tip: want to go out for lunch, dinner or drinks but not venture out too far? Here are a few local places to check out:
Bartack gets the lovely afternoon sun in summer and is nice and cozy during winter (ETA: 5-7 mins walk across the park)
De Kamer van Rembrandt is quaint, has friendly staff and serve tapas-style lunches to share (ETA: 5-7 mins walk across the park)
Hotel not Hotel serves really nice cocktails and yummy Thai food (ETA: 11 mins walk)
Iets Aparts is great for sandwiches, burgers or sweets/cake for lunch.
