Delicious Food

These are some of our family's go to spots that are within walking distance or a short uber ride. All places have great drinks and the food is wonderful.
Chef Ken Oringer is a 3x James Beard nominee for restauranteur of the year. This is the most NYC in vibe in terms of liveliness and fun. Small plates/tapas focus with delicious food. Great for groups and brunch.

Another great spot by Ken Oringer with a focus on Japanese cuisine. from Zagat: Ken Oringer offers a “magical” experience at the Back Bay's Eliot Hotel, crafting “curated, thoughtful” omakase menus and “crazy innovative” dishes with “flow and story”, including Asian street food inspired by Shanghai, Bangladesh and beyond; expanding into the former Clio space upstairs, the sexy bi-level digs boast bars for sashimi, sushi and cocktails, wood accents and tattoo-inspired art, and remain staffed by servers who are “more than knowledgeable” (especially when making suggestions from the “wonderful” sake list).

Local hero and chef Ken Oringer created this cozy spot for delicious Italian small plates. Great outdoor patio. Try an Aperol spritz and the Italian grinder!

We have been all over Japan and this ramen is as good as what we had in Sapporo, Hokkaido! Long lines of people are expected, and there is usually a 15 minutes wait, but it's worth it for the authentic Japanese experience. Go for a late lunch when the lines are shorter.

Late Night

A local dive bar that serves old school Italian food, like iceberg lettuce salad with creamy Italian dressing and clams in garlic and wine sauce. Popular late night spot with local chefs and folks in the restaurant biz to unwind after work. Located just across the street on Columbus Ave,
