Here's a quick list of a few places we like in our part of Berkshire County. You know how your Grandma told you, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all?"
That's why this list is on the short side.L
Old school fish fry drive-in, vintage-style milkshakes, fish fries, fried clams and burgers. Only open seasonally, a local tradition. If Pedrin's is open, the season has started, snow or no snow. Closed until May.

Their hot dogs are made for them by a butcher in Springfield, their fries are the best I've ever had. If you want the real North Adams, this is it. Chili cheese dogs and fries, x 2 comes in under $8 - so bad for you and so, so good. Lots of local folklore around this one and hand made, real food, real folks, real North Adams.
