This is something unique to visit. Visits are by appointment only. Visit their website . It is approximately a 35 minute drive from our location. Go as a group, family or individual.
These wolves are individuals with their own stories. They are not able to return to the wild for various reasons. Here you get a close up look at just how large these mysterious animals are. If you are fortunately enough to be there at the right time, they may give you a group howl. This was the highlight of our visit.

These wolves are individuals with their own stories. They are not able to return to the wild for various reasons. Here you get a close up look at just how large these mysterious animals are. If you are fortunately enough to be there at the right time, they may give you a group howl. This was the highlight of our visit.
Visit the Birthplace of the Texas Flag. This little hidden gem is steeped in Texas history. There is a park called Windfern with homes and outbuildings to walk through from the 1800s.
