In the summer months, you can drive (or hike!) to the top of Mt Evans, which is 14.265 and one of the highest mountains in the continental US. In the winter months, you can snowshoe up the road and near Echo Lake.

We love checking out the trendy shops and restaurants on Tennyson Street (near Tennyson and 41st) and the Highlands (near 32nd and Lowell). We also love REI Denver, which is a fun base for exploring nearby parks, neighborhoods. Don’t miss Denver’s Union Station for the urban vibe!
