Probably the current trendiest neighborhood in Nashville. This is where you'll find a lot of the street murals, as well as some super hip food and coffee places. There's usually some kind of local produce market going on too. There are always tons of people around, so parking can sometimes be a challenge.

The Gulch is ultra chic and a great place for an evening out. There are some really great restaurants in the area, a very hip hotel bar called L.A. Jackson, and some very cool shops - both local and chain - including 'Boro-based E. Allen and our Urban Outfitters. You can usually find pay parking, but watch out for pedestrians!

If crowds aren't your thing though, just go a little bit earlier in the evening. They're also known for a pretty great brunch menu!

Especially on the weekends, karaoke is hoppin' and the place will be packed wall-to-wall. If crowds aren't your thing though, just go a little bit earlier in the evening. They're also known for a pretty great brunch menu!

One of my favorite Thai restaurants in town! That's really all that needs to be said. Just be extra careful in the back parking lot! It's on a really tricky slope with a narrow in-and-out. What Thai restaurant would be worth its salt without some massive inconvenience?

Bongo Java has several Nashville locations, but this one is my favorite. Their coffee is great, and they have a very cool vibe. This location in particular also sells tons board games, and they have demos available for customers to play! If you want to learn a new game, there are coaches available in the evenings!

This artsy cafe is a haunt for a more indie crowd, and a special favorite for late-night food. I've been going here since high school, so it's close to my heart, and remains a great place to hang out for coffee.
