First chance offers both a whale watch and a lobster scenic cruise. The lobster scenic cruise is 1.5 hours making it ideal for little kiddos. The whale watch is another great option too, but is a bit longer (around 3.5-4 hours) To add to the attraction, they offer public parking (for a fee) and is located right behind the Pilot house restaurant - a local favorite. Cheapest and best seafood and lobster in town! A more throw-down environment where you’ll mingle with the locals of town.

Our favorite dining spots
This is a fantastic place for wine and cocktails. The menu is mostly tapas and sharing plates. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! One of our favorite spots for sure.

This locals favorite never disappoints. Consistently delicious food in a cozy but vibrant atmosphere. Dine where the locals do, you won’t regret it! We frequent hurricane often when we go out.

They have live music frequently, and have some of the best bands in the area lined up for their summer schedule. This is my favorite place for fried fish and chips, always super fresh and reasonably priced.

Maine and Vine is right in Dock Square and recently under new ownership by our friend Lani. She is a native kennebunkport’er and breathing new life into the wine store! She often has wine tastings, is extremely knowledgeable, offers a wonderful selection, very fairly priced, and has stocked the store with other goodies. We definitely recommend going to her for your wine/cheese/microbrew beer needs.
