Beautiful place to visit for a walk or you can hire bikes (Whitwell and Normanton), go fishing or the more adventurous can enjoy the Aqua park in the summer months. There’s plenty of coffee shops on the way around the lake.

The Garden of Surprises is fantastic in the summer months and picnicking in the grounds is a lovely way to spend the day.. There is also a small cafe st the entrance of the garden of surprises plus the more formal Orangery cafe in the house.
