Just a really good cafe with a varied list of healthy food options, mainly vegetarian and vegan. Whilst you are there head upstairs and checkout their whole foods store.
There is also a Foodstory Zero cafe located in Old Aberdeen, be sure to bring your own reusable cups and containers... this is a zero waste cafe! Forward thinking :D

Fun things to do and see!
A nice gallery to visit with a good mix of contemporary and classic art pieces, the book store and cafe are great. Note: recently renovated and has re-opened! It's fantastic... The architecture is of high standard and the space is a joy to walk around. Newly added rooftop terrace which gives you some nice views over the city... Shame about about the new horrible development opposite which hides the Triple Kirk spire! Otherwise, really really good and definitely worth the visit.

Believe it or not Aberdeen is a pretty great place to surf, we have miles of beach and depending on the swell and wind direction it can get super good... If you would like to give it a go then give Campbell at Scott Surf a shout, he's a good lad :D

Sun, sea, surf and golden sand! Watch out for the seagulls! A walk, swim or even a surf might tickle yer funcy. The surf is pretty consistent during the winter months and the sea swimmers are normally up bright and early and take a dook around 6am.

Super stylish cafe in the middle of nowhere... It's well outta town. If you have a car and are doing some sightseeing out west then this is the place to stop for a wee coffee or bite to eat. Tucked away in an old disused quarry, the setting is quite stunning and only a stones throw from the Queen's holiday home aka, Balmoral Castle.

A superb wee farm-shop out in the sticks... beautiful sticks at that. Overlooking Clachnaben this is a must stop if out exploring the Royal Deeside area. The shop has loads of great local produce, a fantastic cafe and gift shop.

Wow, such a great place to ski/snowboard if the conditions are right, the biggest resort in the UK! I've some A+ days, they are rare but when you get them they are the absolute best :D

Located south of Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire which is a 30mins bus ride - 20mins train ride from Aberdeen city. This is definitely one of the most dramatic castles in Scotland. Worth the trip for the picture alone ;D
