One of our FAVOURITE pubs in the Dales to visit after a hike along the river and through the hills with the dogs (great for a day out when staying at Booth House). Nestled into the hillside with a panoramic view across the valley, this quirky, historic pub serves exceptional pub food and great beer. When it's cool outside there will always be a roaring fire inside and on sunny days you can sit outside and watch the world go by. The really interesting thing about this place is the crook barn at the back which hosts stunning weddings, parties and also ferret racing on occasion (and you can take a peek if you're visiting).
It does get busy so best to book ahead of your visit.
