Rustic Bakery is another favorite place for lunch. You have two choices. One at Larkspur landing and another on Magnolia Ave. Both are great. We prefer Larkspur Landing because of the access to all the other shops there.

A great spot for cocktail and dinner. We eat at the bar and hang with the locals. There is also a cheaper option at their pizzeria next door. They make an awesome pizza!

Willing to take a bet that this is the best sushi you have ever eaten outside Japan. It's a short drive to Fairfax but worth it. There's no reservations so either get there at opening or attempt to get your name on their list on their website. List opens at 5pm. You have to be super quick to get in. Good luck!

Where to grab a a good cocktail or hang with the locals
Best dive bar in the 'hood. Play some pool or shuffle board while you watch the locals. Popular with everyone from the blue collar workers to the trust fund kids (who are no longer kids but haven't worked a day in their lives!)

Just down the hill and a great place to grab a drink. Food is ok. Drinks are awesome. And you can walk home :-)

If you want to see what Marin was like in the 70's take a 10 min drive to Farifax. The last of the hippies in Marin live there. Definitely worth a looksee

Just an hour up the 101 is our favorite wine country town of Healdsburg. It's what Napa was before it became Disneyland for oenophiles.

Just an hour up the 101 is our favorite wine country town of Healdsburg. It's what Napa was before it became Disneyland for oenophiles.
If you have to...it's only an hours drive away. And if you ain't been there then it's a must. We love Meadowood, Los Alcobas (if you need to stay there) and The Prisoner Winery.
