Downtown Dining and Entertainment
Downtown is one of the more lively areas of Plymouth in the summer and there are plenty of restaurants there, too. Many of these restaurants are near tourist attractions, too.
Similar to Starbucks, but far better. You can get any coffee drink your heart desires, as well as some quick food. There is free wifi here, tables to sit at, and a bathroom available to customers. It's a great place to study, work on your computer, read, or chat with friends.

A Tex-Mex restaurant with awesome drinks and tasty food. Lunch and dinner are family-friendly, but if you're looking for a fun night out, this is one of the places to be!
The restaurant used to be a fire station, and the architecture reflects that!

We personally recommend the Rye Tavern on Old Sandwich Rd. It’s the original standing tavern many used to travel to Cape Cod in their wagons. The Boston (wealthy) residents in the 1800’s maintained tree lots on Cape to be cut to heat their home. Matter of fact, the thievery of trees is the reason why we now have “Land “Court”. Many land disputes required the court to decide. The original tavern has been preserved for you to view. It’s a definite local favorite.

The Jenny Grist Mill is a long standing Mill where sailors were thawed after a Christmas night many decades ago. The men, delivering rum to Plymouth froze to death after a N’east storm. They were told to put the rum in their boots to keep them warm. Most drank the rum & died being frozen to the ship. Wanna know more? Take their tour & don’t forget to ask questions.
