Fantastic local store selling Native American jewelry, pottery, rugs, and other one of a kind items. A short 12 mile drive from our casita. Open 10am-3:30pm Tuesday - Saturday. Highly recommended.

Sandia Peak and the Cibola National forest are a short, scenic drive from our casita. Lots of hiking trails from easy to more challenging. You can also drive to the top of the Crest for amazing views of the entire city and hike all along the ridge. Bring water and a jacket as it is much cooler higher up in the mountains.

Sandia Peak and the Cibola National forest are a short, scenic drive from our casita. Lots of hiking trails from easy to more challenging. You can also drive to the top of the Crest for amazing views of the entire city and hike all along the ridge. Bring water and a jacket as it is much cooler higher up in the mountains.
