This pub had a over haul a few years back, good place to go to watch the footy etc. Hearty food and good range of beers.

Good local Italian, you will probably have had better but its popular with the locals for an in expensive bowl of pasta. Nice friendly service and as locals would be lost with out it.

Things to Do
A few things you can do in the area or near by.
Explore the park, walk along the Thames and view the Peace Pagoda. Pop into the Pear Tree Cafe by the lake for a coffee or lunch. Their Maple cured bacon is really good!!

The iconic building is the new cool place to hang out, with some lovely restaurants and bars and now we even have a cinema under the arches! All though the main building is not yet operational you wont be short of places to choose from. Check out the 3d map of the whole complex under the arches. This makes a good addition to a walk through Battersea Park.

Tooting Market and Broadway Market are both very old London markets. Broadway comes alive at night and weekends with lots of cool little bars & restaurants.
Tooting Market has a good mix of shops and places to eat.

No 44 Bus will take you practically door to door.
The river is approx 7 min walk away, and you can walk along the river in either direction.
If you prefer you can also take Santander Bicycle. There is a rack at the bottom of my street.
You can also catch a River Bus that goes in either direction and a lovely way to see & explore London. There is River Bus Stop approx 10-12 min walk from the flat or you can walk to the North side of Albert Bridge and catch it from there, approx 20 min walk
