For a healthy light bite there's no place better. We like the sausage rolls, they also have the most amazing condiments at the back of the shop on offer if you eat in so make the most of those ;)

A lovely pub for food and drink and if you're up for some wacky fringe performance they have a theatre above the bar.

Some of the markets walking distance from our home. For food, flowers, vintage clothes or anything your heart desires!
On a Sunday a lovely walk is down the canal to Broadway Market then turn south past Hackney City Farm and through Colombia Flower Market ending in Brick Lane and Old Spittalfields you will have experienced the best East London has to offer.
Mainly artisanal/boutique shops backed up with excellent restaurants.
We would do this in tandem with Broadway Market and Colombia Flower Market on a Sunday.

For all the athletes here's a list of places you might like to visit.
If you feel sporty in winter or you are too hot in summer, in the park is the London Fields Lido, a heated outdoor swimming pool for winter and cooled for summer for only the cost of 5 pounds you can swim in the heart of East London.
