Chipping Campden is home to so many different eateries, there is something for everyone!
The rooftop terrace is perfect on a summers evening - highly recommend.
You can literally spend a day quite happily at Huxleys from breakfast, morning coffee, pastries and cakes to some great light lunches and more substantial evening meals. It is licensed and has a rooftop terrace as well as side outside terrace - perfect for that Prosecco on a summers evening.
Also known to have live music throughout the weekend evenings in the summer months - a very cool place to hang out.
Huxleys are dog friendly too.

May LaneIf you are happy for a short drive out of Campden - head over to Ebrington and visit Vegetable Matters - where you will be welcomed to The Drinkwaters farm shop and cafe.
Great home cooked food and also you can purchase some great locally sourced or own grown groceries!
Broadway Tower is a fantastic place to visit as well as eat. From the tower you are able to see 18 counties on a clear day! And you can also visit the War Bunker on certain days.
They have a great cafe and have also just opened the Barn. You can hire electric bicycles from here too.
So go and look them up...just a short drive from the Shepherd's Hut!

Places of interest
Several National Trust Places to visit are within a short car drive of the Shepherds Hut as well as plenty of other fab days out.
The famous gardens at Hidcote are well worth a visit from Spring through to Autumn. Beautifully designed, they have a great cafe there too and you have to pick up one of the old fashioned tennnis rackets and have a game on the old court!

In Spring the bluebells are beautiful and a must see! The lilac flowers are in abundance and feature on many an instagram feed!
Then a little later in the year, The Cotswold Olimpicks are held here - the fun starts on the hill on Friday 31 May 2019 and then continues into the town well into the night - you have to attend if the weather is great and you happen to stay with us during this weekend!!

The following day we have the Scuttlebrook Wake in the town during the afternoon followed by the travelling fair which is open to late Saturday 1st June 2019. But the fair packs up overnight - so if you miss it you miss it!!

The rest of the year - explore Dover's Hill through the seasons - beautiful Cotswolds views at every angle :)
