The first time we went we were just looking to have a burger at the end of a week. We were sorry we didn't find this restaurant earlier. It is now a favorite. This is not a Burger joint. they have a unique way of starting off the meal. I am not going to spoil the surprise. We celebrated a birthday there last year and they put a candle on for me that you can't blow out. A little thing that made the evening a riot for our entire family. Interesting once we celebrated a birthday at this restaurant every restaurant we went to next at the resort was waiting to help us celebrate. it became a birthday week celebration. Wow!

if you have been to a taipan table before then you know what to expect but they added some interesting local Mexican twists. The chef spoke numerous languages and had us laughing and licking our lips it was so tasty. Much of the produce is grown locally on the farm on the property. Fresh adds a lot of flavours.

If you take a Trip to town look for the Cheeky Monkey on the main strip across from the ladder statue across from the Malecon. Beer is cheap. The food was good and make sure you ask them to take a picture of your group at the table. The view of the bay is beautiful. How many punch buggies can you count?
