In Frigliana, 4 km inland from Nerja, this restaurant has lovely views down the valley to the sea from inside and the terrace. The food is great too - lots of choice for vegetarians.

Sea kayak excursions and more. You can take a great sea kayak tour along the coast to the Maro waterfall. Knowledgeable guides point out caves, native plants, and tell you lots of really interesting things about the coast.

This is a lovely clothing-optional beach in a natural park. Swimming here is amazing because there are lots and lots of fish! Great beach restaurant too. Note that in the summer you need to park just off the highway and take a bus down the hill to the beach.

Torre del Mar beach has some great playgrounds, a promenade, restaurants, and you can rent bicycles, etc.

Wonderful spot in the centre of Nerja, always buzzing with activity, and surrounded by tapas bars and ice cream counters.

In summer it is too hot to walk anywhere but here. Walk up the Rio Chillar, wading ankle deep, between canyon walls, and past waterfalls. Wear your bathing suit and have a dip in one of the pools or a dunk in a waterfall.
