Rabbit Hash
This neighborhood is home to the Rabbit Hash Historic District, a quaint town by the Ohio river with attractions like the 190 year old Rabbit Hash General Store.
This town is located directly across the river from us and is accessible through the Rising Star Ferry, which operates Thurs-Sun. There are a couple of bars for a quick bite to eat and there is a great Mexican restaurant, Tequila's, that offers traditional Mexican fare. The town is also home to Rising Star casino and a beautiful riverfront park.

Located about an hour from Rabbit Hash, Cincinnati is the biggest city near us and offers great food, beautiful sights, and other activities from museums to parks to drive-in movie theaters.

Museums
This is a very popular spot with many of my guests, although I have never been. The Ark Encounter is 45 minutes away from Rabbit Hash and offers a theme park like experience and information on the foundation of evangelical Christianity. The main piece of the park is the 510 ft long replica of Noah's Ark.

Food scene
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area and is only a short drive from the house. It offers a variety of options to fit dietary restrictions, but serves classic Kentucky dishes, like the Hot Brown and fried green tomatoes.

The park itself is beautiful to walk through and is home to quite a few ponds and easy-to-moderate hiking trails.
Great for families with young children! They have a lot of seasonal events, like a hay-bail ride and summer festivals.
