Manistee has some great eating places beit casual or more upscale or just down-home salt of the earth fun.
Great for a early morning coffee and muffin. Coffee is great and there are a lot to choose from. Also the lunch menu is wonderful. Everything is made right there and the service is terrific

Historic old Brothel Bar...sorry guys the girls have long been gone but the service staff is wonderful. The Corn beef or Roasted Chicken just cannot be beat. The atmosphere feels like a working mans pub and bar from years gone by. Check it out and you will want to tell others and definitely go back.

This is a beautiful restaurant on the River and has a great menu. More upscale and many choices of seafood and chefs selection of the day. The atmosphere alone will captivate your visit. Great view, great artwork, and most of all great food and drink.

Yes there are lot of A&W restaurants but not like this original establishment. The best food...always hot. From all the burger favorites to hot dogs and ice cream. The root-beer is made and aged right there just like the old days. Go inside or to the drive-up and you will have a the meal of yesteryear along with a root beer float or any other beverage they have on tap. But if it is me at the counter...I want the root beer in a frosty mug like the 1950's A&W served.
