Food Scene

Probably the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! in the heart of Borough Market, which in itself is a must see in general, the food, experience atmosphere is second to none, casual but fabulous!!

In front of Victoria Station, a brisk half an hour walk from Kennington, new to London's food and drink scene but very buzy with a great choice of street food options, worth a visit if passing.

Owned by Jeremy King and Chris Corbin, the finest operators of restaurants in London, this French Brasserie style restaurant certainly is a great choice at any part of the day, breakfast, lunch, dinner or drop in at any time for drinks at the bar or snack or their all day menu, perfect if venturing down the world famous Kings Road.

I have been a regular at the KT since I moved to Kennington 18 years ago, the owner is Kowsar who is like a brother, his family and the staff there are like family to me, the food is outstanding and the clientele totally eclectic, expect politicians, the odd rock star, actors and a host of the local residents.

Parks & Nature

Should you have a little ones to walk, canine or other, Battersea Park is a lovely regular wholesome good English Park, there are smaller parks in the immediate vicinity but it is worth the stroll here, ice-cream vans in the summer, cafe's in the winter, a walk along the river wrapped up on a brisk winters day or a run though the park in summer!!

For the slightly more discerning shopper, Regent Street and the streets that lead off, Jermyn Street, Saville Row etc. etc. ect... All amazing for the shopper in the family or group, great restaurants, pubs, bars and boutique arcades, Burlington Arcade a favourite of mine!!!
