you can go horse riding or on a lovely boat tour on the rivers from Ste Maries de la Mer or Aigues Morte. Aigues Mortes is a lovely town. We did the Tiki III cruise which leaves from le Grau d;Orgon, D38 13460 les Saintes Maries de la Mer at 10am, 2.30pm and 4.15pm. It was very pleasant.

There are no shops, just dunes. You have to pay to park. Roads can get busy in the evening to come home.

about 1h30 away which is a lovely seaside town has a lovely beach with bouncy castles type activities for kids and a few restaurants/bars on the beach. Sete is an interesting place to visit with lovely views from Mont St Clair and its canals. The speciality here is the Tielle which is a calamari pie.

There is the Gadon River to swim in, the steam train and the Bamboo park. The train lasts 40 mins each way with very few seats via the bamboo park. You can do a guided tour of the Bamboo park, which is beautiful.
